JOB SUMMARY

• The Associate will be an integral part of Company's PMT team and its operations from day one. The person is expected to add value already at the outset and be independently responsible for selected work streams.
• The role and tasks are multifaceted, and the Associate will be involved in, among other things, project management – internally and externally – in connection with the execution of a transaction. Internal work involves co-operation with, and management of, a broad range of individuals both internally and externally, with different professions, backgrounds, roles and skillsets. Consequently, high emphasis is put on the Associate’s ability to interact with other people in a professional, confident yet unpretentious manner. Furthermore, building comprehension of vital aspects of wind power project development and associated procurement and construction is a significant part of the role.
• The work will also involve travelling, exposure to senior decision makers and interaction with project developers and a global investor base, which accentuates the need for high interpersonalskills.
• The role as an Associate is demanding, especially during the execution phase of a transaction. The work holds many similarities with a typical M&A-transaction and a successful Associate must hence be highly structured, committed, have high work capacity, and hold the ability to quickly address and resolve unexpected and urgent tasks.

Responsibilities:
• Support to senior team members in connection with project / transaction planning and execution
• Support to senior team members in Internal and external project management
• Information gathering and drafting of Information Memorandums
• Financial modelling and analysis
• Management of advisors, primarily M&A-teams and lawyers
• Management of Due Diligence processes
• Deal origination (alone or together with more senior team members)
• Support to senior team members in connection with negotiations
• Interaction and communication with project developers, investors, suppliers and other
stakeholders

Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience from work in M&A
• Documented experience from M&A- and/or Due Diligence (financial or commercial)
processes and understanding of the applicable tools, tasks and processes associated with
these is a prerequisite. Likely background from corporate finance / investment banking,
M&A boutiques, transaction services at big 4, industrial M&A or private equity
• International experience is meriting but not a prerequisite
• Experience from the infrastructure / energy/ renewables industry is a prerequisite
• Communication- and “people” skills are of utmost importance
• Analytical with high numerical skills and highly structured
• Humble, transparent, and confident, but not overly confident
• Trouble shooter and problem solver with a genuine interest in deal-making
