Sales Representative – Valves | East Coast Australia & PNG
Location: Brisbane, QLD (flexible for the right candidate – Perth considered)
Employment Type: Full-time | Office, onshore & offshore with regular travel within Australia, PNG, and Asia
We are seeking a Sales Representative to join a market-leading organisation in the industrial valves sector. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, promoting products and services, and driving growth across the East Coast of Australia and PNG regions.
This position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of clients and projects, with a strong focus on business development and technical sales in a dynamic and growing market.

We are seeking a Sales Representative to join a market-leading organisation in the industrial valves sector. This role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, promoting products and services, and driving growth across the East Coast of Australia and PNG regions.

Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct regular client visits and calls to ensure effective account coverage.
- Develop and execute sales plans to grow market share and drive revenue.
- Identify, qualify, and manage sales leads and opportunities.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients during the sales process and installation/commissioning phases.
- Monitor project execution, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities in line with industry best practices.
- Support the preparation of quotations, proposals, and pricing strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate account records, visit reports, and sales pipelines.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a technical, mechanical, or relevant field (preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles, ideally within valves, actuation, or related industrial equipment.
- Strong understanding of valve and actuation products (preferred but not essential).
- Proven track record in client relationship management and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly within Australia, PNG, and occasionally Asia.
- Valid passport and ability to meet site access requirements.
