Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Summary:

• The Shipping & Receiving Clerk will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, processing incoming materials, and ensuring smooth documentation flow. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter receipts of raw materials into the ERP system.
• Print and apply identification labels for incoming materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and assign materials to job orders.
• Assist with truck check-ins and dock housekeeping (inside and outside).
• Track and organize shipping/receiving paperwork.
• Support warehouse operations as needed.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse data entry.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Skilled in using hand scanners and ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of lifting, standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift and move items up to 30 lbs.
• Tasks may involve bending, kneeling, crawling, reaching, and repetitive movements.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures.
