Location: Stord
Main Tasks:
- Site Manager for Operator at Stord fabrication and assembly site.
- Responsible for overseeing the yard activities executed by the alliance contractors/suppliers.
- Supporting the site team on behalf of Company/Alliance.
- The Site Manager work in the PWP Fixed Facility Alliance and shall support the project and alliance overall objectives and business cases in accordance with agreed HSE, Quality, Schedule and Cost targets.
- Actively contribute and support to alliance improvement and performance. Be an enabler for realisation of the full alliance performance potential.
- Monitor compliance with the HSE and QA requirements. Stop all unsafe conditions and report HSE incidents when required.
- Ensure that required reviews, verification, and follow-up are conducted by the alliance to confirm that the work is executed and that the overall concept is implemented in accordance with the alliance, operator and authority requirements.
- Alignment and coordination with other disciplines in the project. Special attention and involvement from system integration, quality control, completion and operation.
- Coordination and follow-up of the Company site team leads in the alliance and subcontractor construction sites. Conduct weekly meetings.
- Build and maintain relations to the other alliance contractors on long term basis.
- Attend relevant alliance meetings, reviews, workshops, audits and verification including weekly and monthly meetings at site.
- Identify and propose necessary corrective actions towards the contractor when required.
- Perform regular reporting to Project Manager on status and propose corrective actions if required.
- Ensure business ethics on all levels.
- Participate in weekly HSSE management inspections.
- Review and propose additional HSE corrective actions if required.
- Perform own verification and participate in the subcontractor’s audit and verification.
- Review the risk register and propose new risks as required.
- Facilitate and coordinate Operator involvement and visits at the site.
Qualifications:
- Engineering or Science degree, BSc or MSc, and related field education/experience.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant offshore project construction and management experience including experience from project teams and interaction with clients.
- The holder of the role must be a strong communicator, have 10+ years of relevant work experience and a track record of excellent HSSE project performance.
- Knowledge of North Sea principles and standards.
- Be self-motivated with a willingness to learn from others and work with a minimum of direction.
