Job Title: SPI Administrator Job Purpose: Monitor and administer Smart Plant Instrumentation SPI (INtools) software application, installation, configuration and administration for providing instrumentation design services for inhouse investment and major projects covering all areas of Company operations in compliance with Company standards and requirements, Department procedures, established health & safety standards and recognized industry best practices. Knowledge Skills and Experience Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent. Minimum 10 years’ experience out of which more than 5 years of engineering design &user/administrative experience on SPI (INtools) software in Oil & Gas industry or withConsultants/EPC Contractors.
Integration knowledge of other Spart Plant applications like Smart Plant P&ID, Smart PlantElectrical and Smart 3d is an advantage. Relative knowledge of relational database systems andSQL.
Understanding all phases and workflow of any instrumentation project and its execution usingSPI (INtools) integrated with other Smart Plant applications.
A wide knowledge of up-to-date design and construction methods usingIndustry/Companywide codes and standards.
A full appreciation of his/her responsibility in producing work of such a calibre as topreclude, in all instances, costly field modifications.
A thorough knowledge of working within and preparing designs for classified hazardousareas
. Experience of working as a co-ordinator of instrumentation software design packages.
