Job Summary:

The Contracts Manager oversees the administration, negotiation, and compliance of all contracts across the project lifecycle. The role ensures effective contract risk management, cost control, claims prevention,
and alignment with commercial and legal standards.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Manage pre- and post-award contract processes (EPC, subcontractors, vendors)
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts in compliance with legal and project requirements
• Maintain contract records, change orders, variations, and claims documentation
• Interface with legal, procurement, engineering, and project teams to ensure contract alignment
• Lead dispute resolution efforts and support claims preparation and defense
• Monitor contract performance and support audits and risk reviews

Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, EPC, and construction contract models
• Experience in contract drafting, negotiation, and administration
• Familiar with claims management, cost impact analysis, and contract risk mitigation
• Skilled in change order management and documentation control
• Understanding of project timelines, deliverables, and commercial impacts
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of contract management systems is a plus
• Prior involvement in hydropower or large infrastructure projects is non-negotiable Classification - Public
• Cross-Discipline Coordination: Able to align timelines and deliverables with civil, E&M, and geotechnical teams.
