NES Fircroft are currently recruiting a SSOW Coordinator for our client, a major engineering services provider, on a site in Grangemouth Scotland. This is a 3-6 month project working 60hrs per week. Ltd Co options available.

Responsibilities:
- Issue permits under Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) to nominated personnel under set procedures
- Supporting HSE related to the Mechanical Construction activities
- Coordination of all work activities that will take place in a daily Coordination meeting with Mechanical Supervisors.
Experience and Qualifications
- IOSH Managing Safely or working towards a NEBOSH General certificate
- Broad knowledge of engineering practices
- Previous SSOW coordinator / control of work experience
- Provide evidence of a good working knowledge of process operations and SSOW procedures
- Ability to maintain accurate, concise, legible records in the SSOW office
- Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical isolation process & Procedures
- Previous experience working in a COMAH Site Environment
- CDM Compliance
- Provide evidence of self-motivation with demonstrable levels of drive, energy and resilience
- Demonstrable ability to make safe decisions including when under pressure
- Demonstrable effective communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel
