Technical Writer

Perth Southwest based  – 40 hours per week
$90 - $97 + super / hour
Temporary assignment – 4:3 roster

NES Fircroft has partnered with a Tier 1 mining client currently seeking a Technical Writer for a temporary site-based assignment. This role is ideal for a documentation professional with experience in mining/refinery or chemical processing environments.

About You:

• Demonstrated experience as a Technical Writer in mining, chemical, or industrial settings
• Strong understanding of process plant operations, particularly crushing and chemical processing
• Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity, accuracy, and usability
• Ability to work independently in a remote, site-based environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document management systems
• Experience with spodumene or lithium processing is highly desirable

The Role:

• Working on-site, you will be responsible for developing Operational Procedures for a new Spodumene Concentrator Crusher and Chemical Plant. You’ll collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams to gather technical information and ensure documentation meets company and regulatory standards.
• Open to any technical background, electrical, mechanical, chemical - needing people with a good knowledge of refineries.
