Telecom Package Responsible Engineer (PRE)

To strengthen our team, Aker Solutions team in Fornebu is looking for a Telecom Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) who can help us succeed.

What will you be doing? 

You will be working as Telecom Package Responsible Engineer together with other colleagues in the Klemetsrud FEED - Oslo CCS project, your responsibility includes but not limited to the following:

• Responsible for equipment quality and completeness of telecom packages
• Review, comment and approval of supplier documentation
• Handle any changes to scope and specification from/to supplier
• Assure that equipment requirements are understood and implemented
• Give input to PRB with regards to package schedule and cost

We think you should have some of the following:

• BSc or MSc in relevant field
• Telecom system engineering experience
• Experienced with telecom package preparation, handling and follow-up
• Minimum of 10 years of experience with offshore
• High skills on telecommunication systems such as PAGA, PBX, data, GMDSS, fibre optical, power supply, personnel registration, UHF Tetra, personnel registration
• Software Skills: Microsoft office tools, COMOS, ProArc
• Fluent written and oral communication in English, and preferably Norwegian

Working location: Fornebu, Oslo
Contract duration: July 2024 with option for extension
