UFR QA/QC Lead

NES Fircroft are looking for a UFR QA/QC Lead that will be responsible for coordinating quality assurance and quality control activities, supporting the package manager on all quality-related matters.

Role details : 
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Duration: 12 months renewable 
  • Locations : Resident in France till 31/12/2025. Rotational: 4 weeks in Suriname/ 2 weeks remote / 2 weeks off  
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure implementation of the Quality Management System (QMS) across the team.
  • Oversee contractor and subcontractor compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
  • Supervise and monitor quality activities during engineering, procurement, construction, and service phases.
  • Approve quality plans, inspection test plans, and related documentation.
  • Manage ISO 9001 processes including audits, non-conformance, corrective/preventive actions, KPIs, inspections, and feedback.
  • Coordinate quality oversight at manufacturing sites, fabrication yards, and vendor facilities.
  • Liaise with third-party inspection and certification bodies.
  • Report and address deficiencies in contractor practices and deliverables.
  • Collaborate closely with the project quality team.
Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant products and quality standards.
  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience, with at least 10 years in project environments.
  • Fluent in French and English.
