NES is hiring 4 Vendor Performance Coordinators and Clerks for the Ruwais LNG, NZT, and NFS projects.
Mission Overview
The Vendor Performance Coordinator (VPC) is responsible for managing Vendor Performance Management (VPM) activities related to the Purchase Orders under their scope. This includes coordination with shop expeditors and inspectors to ensure supplier compliance with contractual obligations in terms of delivery deadlines and manufacturing quality.
The VPC also ensures effective monitoring of assigned man-hour budgets and is in charge of preparing all relevant VPM reports for the project.
They report operationally to the Project Vendor Performance Manager, and supervise 2nd party agency expeditors/inspectors assigned to the project.

Main Responsibilities
- Review contracts and develop project-specific VPM procedures
- Define expediting and inspection levels based on project criticality analysis
- Request assignment of Expeditors/Inspectors from 2nd Party Agencies
- Monitor and report man-hours against budget
- Ensure availability of all required documentation to support VPM activities
- Organize and lead Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM) and Hand-Over Meetings (HOM)
- Ensure Expeditors/Inspectors comply with project specifications
- Review and validate VPM deliverables (PIM Reports, Expediting and Inspection Reports, IRNs) prior to distribution
- Prepare and present regular VPM status reports to the Project Team (e.g., Monthly Expediting Reports, Expediting Execution Plan)
- Attend project meetings and vendor KOM/HOM as needed
- Maintain up-to-date progress tracking in relevant IT tools (e.g., Smart®Materials)
- Work with the Project Team and Inspectors to adjust inspection levels or define mitigation/recovery plans if needed
- Conduct and participate in supplier/sub-supplier visits or meetings when required
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or Management
- Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas / Chemical suppliers
- Experience coordinating in complex environments
- Ability to work under pressure and manage shifting priorities
- Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
- Proficient in operational English
- Demonstrated leadership and initiative
- Master’s Degree in Engineering
- Previous workshop-based quality control experience
- Additional foreign language skills
