Case Study - Clinical Trials

Sourcing Clinical Expertise in Switzerland

Headquartered in Switzerland, our client is a biopharmaceutical company focusing on the discovery, development and commercialisation of small molecules

The client had secured FDA approval for an insomnia drug and therefore needed to rapidly increase the commercialisation of their operations across Europe in several locations. Our client is based in the centre of Europe’s Biopharmaceutical activity; continued levels of high investment into the space has created a large talent gap.

Our client prides themselves on employing professionals with a transformative and innovative approach to therapies, and is consequently always looking for agile mindsets in a highly competitive space. The business had an urgent need to grow their teams within the clinical space.

Despite the fact that the client had 4 staffing agencies on their preferred supplier list, each with over a decade of experience under their belt, business-critical roles were remaining open for months which was jeopardising the progression of their project. The client needed the support of a local recruitment partner who could act quickly and fill their talent gaps.

The Results

Our established recruitment process and onboarding methodology meant we were able to get successful candidates to site within just one week from offer acceptance. As a result of our unrivalled market expertise and network reach we were the only consultancy to place with the client in a six month period.

  • The breadth of our experience means that we add value to the whole lifecycle of the client’s operations – from their research and development phases, through to clinical trials and the commercialisation of the product.
  • Our all-encompassing approach and full project lifecycle support has enabled us to immerse ourselves in the client’s environment and develop a comprehensive overview of their end-to-end process to further support our understanding in how to make perfect talent matches with their operations.
  • Our office footprint complements the areas in which the client is set to commercialise their new drug. We are currently helping the client’s commercial operations in Germany, with plans to support their entry to the Spanish market.
  • The high-quality calibre of candidates we have supplied has quickly grown our business relationship to go beyond just supporting contract hire roles, and the client has now engaged our support for their permanent hires too.
  • In addition to hiring professionals for their Clinical endeavours, we are now also supporting the client’s Medical, Scientific and Research & Development departments and look forward to continuing our working partnership.
